Start with one short authentic dialogue. UrLine keeps the answer concealed until you commit, then gives you a calm comparison and a route back to the lines worth rehearsing.
Speak from meaning
Select a cue in your own language, speak the sentence you would naturally use, and press End when the line is complete.
Compare and revisit
Read the revealed source, play its sample voice, favorite useful patterns, and link notes to the original context.
Common questions
Why is the English answer hidden?
UrLine trains retrieval rather than recognition. Speak from the cue in your own language first, then end the attempt to reveal the authentic source and compare wording.
What does gray text mean?
Gray means your wording differs from the source. It is not automatically wrong English, and UrLine does not convert the comparison into a punitive score.
How does the sample voice work?
After a source line is revealed, choose Play sample voice beside it. By default your own device reads the line, which is free, instant, and unlimited, though the exact voice differs by device. In Settings you can switch to a studio voice for a more natural reading; those have a daily allowance and fall back to your device once it is used.
Why did microphone access fail?
Allow microphone access for the site, confirm that another application is not holding the microphone, then refresh and sign in again. VPNs, proxies, and aggressive content blockers can also prevent the protected speech connection from opening.
Is every recording stored?
No. Ordinary attempt audio is discarded after transcription; only one take you explicitly choose for a favorite may be stored, and removing that favorite removes its stored take.
Why did speech stop for the day?
Authenticated accounts have a 15-minute daily speech allowance. UrLine charges connected recognition time rather than the maximum sentence timeout, and the allowance resets on the next day.
